Gio Ponte Dining Table for Singer & Sons

This is the larger version of the Gio Ponti for Singer & Sons extendable dining table (they were produced in both 48" and 40" diameters). Beautiful, vivid Italian walnut grain offset by brass sabots. A rare find as this table comes with four original leaves. Italy, circa 1955. In excellent original condition (one small knick in the table edge shown in last photo).  This is a stunner.
