Studio Sonja Milan is where beautiful furniture – mostly mid-century modern – comes to find a new home, new protector - someone to admire its clean lines and gorgeous hardware.
I’ve had a decade's long obsession with mid-century modern furniture. My collecting (or hoarding as my significant other so fondly called my passion), was a habit I just couldn’t break… so I decided to turn that passion into a business. I scour auction houses and estate sales and hand pick beautiful pieces of well-made furniture and interesting art and accessories for Studio Sonja Milan. We have an inventory that includes pieces by influential designers like Gio Ponte, Milo Baughman, Charles and Ray Eames, Florence Knoll, Bertha Schaefer, Harry Bertoia, Arne Jacobsen, Michael Taylor and Eero Saarinen (to name a few) and manufactured by companies like Tomlinson, Singer & Sons, Baker and Mastercraft.
Many of our pieces are in amazing original condition, others are lovingly restored by local expert craftsmen. We use only the finest fabrics and finishes.
Because we are often out looking for new and exciting pieces, we are a "by appointment only" establishment. We’d love to schedule a time to have you stop by our new Chicago studio and see what we have to offer.
