Danish Drylund Lotus Round Expandable Dining Table

This skillfully crafted Mid-Century teak “Lotus” or “Flip/Flap” dining table by Dyrlund was made in Denmark, circa 1960. It has four hidden leaves with striking brass hinges.  The leaves effortlessly slide out from underneath the top and flip open to reveal eight divided sections.  This table can comfortably accommodate four people when the leaves aren't deployed (45" round).  It easily seats eight when the leaves are utilized (69" round). Four tapered legs provide sturdy support. A true representation of Danish craftsmanship and clever, practical design. 

The listing is for the table alone....but the coordinating chairs are available in a separate listing.  The look absolutely perfect together. 

The table top is slightly faded and has surface scratches.  Pull out leaves are in excellent original condition.  Table priced with imperfections.  Top can be restored for an additional $1,200.  There is approximately 6-8 week lead time for restoration work.
