Large Mid-Century Tapestry Mounted on Black Canvas Frame

A large and colorful mid-century tapestry or kilim that has been mounted on (or rather tacked unto) a canvas that is black - to serve as a frame.  The work is very colorful with bold shades of red, orange, pink, black and yellow.  It looks very much like a mid-century kilim that was designed by the Polish artist E. Keszycka in the 1960's (and is reminiscent of that artist's work).  

It is impressive in size.  Overall it is 69" H x 43.25" W x 1" D.  The tapestry itself is 65" x 39.5".

The piece doesn't appear to be stretched tightly over the canvas.  There are some light whitish marks on the black canvas background.  In person the colors seem a bit more muted than the close-up images suggest but it is stunning.
