Monumental Set of Pasinski Mid-Century Bar Glasses and Martini Pitcher - SOLD

This is a monumental set of very rare mid-century barware designed by Irene Pasinski for Washington Glass.  This set features a design done in a bright orange and gold.  The gilding is almost entirely intact with very little loss (mostly on the signature).  

This set includes a martini pitcher (dimensions provided above are those of the martini pitcher).  7 highball glasses, 8 large rocks glasses, 7 roly poly glasses, and 5 shot glasses.  It's exceptional to find a set of this size - in this condition.  This is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Irene Pasinski was an accomplished artist and designer from the Pittsburgh area that studied at Carnegie Mellon and in Paris.  She had a design firm and she designed barware for Washington Glass Company. Irene's glassware was notable for its beautiful patterns (elegant and detailed) and its use of color.  Most of her designs had some decoration in 22-karat gold. It is highly collectable today.
